ADETUNJI LADELE

Ade is a multidiscipline International Shipping and Marine Business Development professional with achievements in initiating and building high yield new business in Shipping, Marine Logistics and the Upstream Marine Services sector.

Ade is the founding Director of Blue Phoenix Marine and has a BSc. degree in Biochemistry and an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom. He began his professional career in Shipping and Trade Operations at Sahara Energy Group where he served for over 5 years.

From Sahara, he moved to the UK where he attended business school then joined James Fisher and Sons Plc Group where he headed the marine business development, West Africa desk for the Fendercare Marine Services division of the group. Here, he built a portfolio of new business pipelines and contracts in excess of GBP550 Million in 4 years.

He served here for almost 5 years before he was headhunted to work for a new division of a London based ship owner - Union Maritime. He served here for almost 2 years before taking up a short engagement with NIDAS Marine, after which he established Blue Phoenix in July 2016.
